Marcello Coltro, Executive VP for Content Distribution in the company, informed that Venevisión is making Entre tu amor y mi amor (120×60′) with this outline. It has already been placed in the hands of 20 clients. The other project that is in the pre production stage, also in Venezuela, is Para verte mejor, written by Mónica Montañés.”With Entre tu amor y mi amor we are making an experiment, that is the first telenovela format that can be edited. We follow the development of scripts and every 24 episodes of the telenovela there is a liffhanger (a peak moment), a very important moment in the story. This way the channel can present this series as a 24-episode series and not an endless telenovela, allowing episodes to be edited in five seasons, 24 episodes each”, explained Coltro.This will help clients who have digital platforms. “The novela Para verte mejor is a very interesting dramedy, that has five female main characters who fall in love in five different moments in their lives (at the ages of 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60). We think the female audience, and also the male audience, will identify with the story in an interesting way”.
