Telemundo announced the redesign of the digital platforms of their 15 online, to achieve a more modern design that includes desktop and mobile applications. Through a release, the TV station said that this is about an effort to maintain their Hispanic audience updated with bad weather alerts and a breaking news bar. “Our new and renewed digital tools offer our users state-of-the-art technology, delivering last minute information as well as much faster reports on what is happening in their markets, said Osvaldo “Ozzie” Martínez, senior VP for News, Digital and Regulations at Telemundo. “The improvements offer our Hispanic audience the best in the digital area, including an improved time experience and improved breaking news delivery, that will keep viewers informed of the latest news when they are on-the-go”. Among the new features of the redesign are an improved interactive radar and a new platform that allows meteorologists to make local forecasts. The applications will be launched at the start of 2016.
