Telemundo delivers best Monday-Friday primetime ratings in its history among Total Viewers and A18-49 in 2015

Telemundo today announced the network’s Monday-Friday primetime ratings in 2015 were the highest in its history among Total Viewers (1.67M, +9% vs. 2014) and Adults 18-49 (828K, +9% vs. last year), according to Nielsen. This year, the network gained more total viewers (+144,000), Adults 18-49 (+71K) and Adults 18-34 (+40K) versus the prior year than any other Spanish-language broadcast network. For the third consecutive year, Telemundo’s Spanish-language network share has increased among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, up +7 points vs. 2014 to 36 and 35 percent, respectively.The new innovative programming that Telemundo has implemented delivered the smallest Monday-Friday primetime gap in network history between Telemundo and Univision among Adults 18-49 (376K, reducing the gap by half, compared to 2014) and Adults 18-34 (179K, reducing the gap by 52% compared to 2014).Bolstered by the unprecedented success of the super series format, Telemundo ranked as the number one Spanish-language broadcast network Monday-Friday at 10pm among key adult demos, beating Univision by 10% among Adults 18-49 (1.33M vs. 1.21M) and 17% among Adults 18-34 (633K vs. 542K) in 2015. Among Total Viewers, only 349,000 viewers separate Univision from Telemundo at 10pm, the smallest gap on record and a 68% reduction compared to a year ago.
