New operational structure will give MundoMax flexibility in real time and success potential in the competed LA and Houston markets

Under the expansion of the alliance between MundoMax (former MundoFOX) and Meruelo Media, announced in recent days, the main change is that “MundoMax, beyond providing programming, now takes the reigns of sales and marketing for the two stations in Los Angeles and Houston. The main headquarters of this sales structure continues to be New York, with sales offices in Miami, Los Angeles and now an office in Chicago”, explained to PRODU a spokesperson of the network.He also mentioned that the management of the Los Angeles and Houston stations continues to be under Meruelos Media. The network spokesperson emphasized that “this new operational structure will give MundoMax flexibility in real time and the potential to reach success in these two competitive markets (Los Angeles y Houston)”.The Marketing area will continue to be under the direction of Oswald Méndez, Chief Marketing Officer at MundoMax. Edward Jiménez, who is now sales leader for MundoMax, will take over the position of National VP of Sales. Tom Maney, leader of Ad Sales of the FOX US Hispanic channels portfolio (FOX Deportes, Nat Geo Mundo, FOXLife) will remain in an advisory role for the near future, together with Edward Jiménez.
