AMC Networks: In less than a year we managed to reach more than 50% of pay TV homes in LatAm

After the launch of AMC on October 27th, 2014, the signal is already available in more than 50% of pay TV homes in Latin America, due to the empowerment of their offices in countries like Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and the US.“We are committed to expansion and our bet is to bring to Latin America the best international content through AMC and Sundance Channel. Likewise, our efforts are directed towards local production for the channels elGourmet and Más Chic”, Eduardo Zulueta, general director of AMC Networks, told PRODU. For the end of 2015 and beginning of 2016, all the signals belonging to AMC Networks will be in HD.AMC is about to launch on August 23rd at 10pm simultaneously in Latin America and the US, the first episode of Fear The Walking Dead (6×60´), produced by AMC Studios.“This new series stands out mainly because of the originality of its plots, sturdiness and cinematographic quality in the making”, he added.“Advertisers seek the best audience with relevant contents and that is what Fear The Walking Dead is, an absolutely attractive series for any brand”, concluded Zulueta.
