Lenard Liberman, CEO of Liberman Broadcasting; Winter Horton, COO; and Judy Kenny, executive Sales VP of Networks ; led Estrella TV’s presales in the Bryant Park Grill in Nueva York.Liberman and Horton announced the launching of Fenomeno Studios, an MCN (Multi Channel Network) for the digital world.“What we have learned from the digital world is that you cannot take content from your open TV, repackage it and then put it on your website and say this is the digital strategy. That is not authentic and does not connect with the audience. We are launching Fenomeno Studios, which will be an MCN (Multi Channel Network) and we are going to feed it with our own talent, like Luis Coronel who is a sensation on social networks and Don Cheto, who has 47 million views on YouTube, as well as incubate new talents. We want to place them under the umbrella of Fenomeno Studios and take them to the next level”, explained Horton, who added that some of these contents could travel to the TV screen. For Fenomeno Studios, the network is building a 20,000 square foot studio in Burbank.Other novelties announced in the network’s upfront are iTestigo, news program in which the audience is the one to generate reports from their phones or by sending videos, and En La Lucha, a space devoted to Latin political talent.Estrella TV also incorporated the Mexican actress Consuelo Duval, who will participate in a variety show in that channel. The singer Skylar Grey delighted the audience throughout the evening.
