Telemundo premieres La Biblia in Spanish for the first time ever in the U.S.

Telemundo announces the premiere of the first ever Spanish version of the epic mini-series, The Bible (La Biblia) on March 25th at 8pm/7c.From executive producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey and starring Diogo Morgado as Jesús, The Bible is a ground breaking scripted docudrama that retells the stories that we all know from the point of view of the heroes and villains whose decisions shaped both Old and New Testaments. Additionally, A.D. The Bible Continues, the highly anticipated sequel to the hit miniseries The Bible, to premiere on NBC on April 5th at 8pm/7c.Filmed on location in the Middle East and Morocco, the series features powerful performances from a stellar cast, exotic locations and dazzling visual effects that breathe new life into the dramatic tales of faith and courage, from Abraham to Moses, through Noah to David, following Jesus and the Apostles. The Bible (La Biblia) captures the struggles people faced during that period of time in a way a modern audience can relate to.
