CNN en Español announced the appointment of José Manuel Rodríguez as senior correspondent in Miami beginning October 1. He will be responsible for covering the most powerful and relevant personalities and the news of the day, in a market that generates relevant content to the region. “For his previous experience in Miami and his vast knowledge of Latin Americas geopolitics and the role that Miami has in it, we are sure that José Manuel will play a valuable role as senior correspondent in this city, said Eduardo Suárez, VP of Programming for CNN en Español. He has made great contributions to our operations in the Southern Cone and we are pleased to bring his expertise to this important market. Previously, Rodriguez served as head of News Production for the Southern Cone from Buenos Aires. He reorganized and re-launched the production center chain, generating great importance to what happens in the region.
