Now, with a U.S. Hispanic portfolio of five pay-TV channels (Pasiones, Centroamérica TV, TV Dominicana, WAPA América and Cinelatino) and one broadcast channel (WAPA TV), Hemisphere Media Group has positioned itself to offer better options to its advertisers.“One of the things we love about having these five U.S. channels is that it’s easier to package to advertisers across the channels and really serve in a very targeted way important segments of the audience. If you are an advertiser and your focus is on the Puerto Rican, Dominican or Caribbean side of the audience, a buy with us is a 100% efficient. We feel we offer a unique proposition,” said to PRODU, Alan Sokol, president and CEO of Hemisphere Media Group.Sokol said that the goal of the company is to increase investment in the recently acquired channels (Pasiones, Centroamérica TV and TV Dominicana). “We believe we’re positioned well, that we can do with these channels what we’ve done with Cinelatino and WAPA, which is transforming them from good channels to extraordinary ones,” he added.
