María Elvira Salazar of CNN Latino: My show will feature both news and analysis

CNN Latino Miami local programming will include a daily primetime show featuring interviews called María Elvira, hosted by María Elvira Salazar and produced by MIA TV.“The show will not only have news, but it will also offer analysis of diverse subjects, as well as interviews with artists and athletes. This will help our audience to stay well informed at home,” Salazar told PRODU. The host returns to Hispanic broadcast television with this daily primetime show that will be carried on all CNN Latino east coast affiliates from 8-9pm. The program will be a news magazine show where global news is analyzed in a unique way. The program’s format will allow viewers to enter the world of artists and writers and discuss the challenges for Hispanics living in the United States.For the first time, South Florida audiences will be able to watch CNN content without having to pay for cable service. Starting August 9th, CNN Latino Miami will be available as a free-TV channel as well as in basic cable.
