Venevision Productions: We’ve produced over 10,000 hours of programming in our Florida studios

Peter Tinoco, president and CEO of Venevision Productions, told PRODU that since the opening of Venevision Studios in Miami, the company has produced over 10,000 hours of programming.Founded in 2004, Venevision Productions has invested deeply in the expansion and upgrading of its facilities, known today as Venevision Studios. A dozen Florida legislators recently toured the facilities. Tinoco showed them around the modern five-studio complex located in Medley, just north of Miami International Airport. The executive expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and positive attitude of the local and state government towards the company.Tinoco says the company produces 1,200 hours of programming each year, airing on Univisión in the U.S. and distributed to over 100 countries around the world by Venevision International. Additionally, he said Venevision Productions provides around 300 direct jobs and hires over 500 indirectly, and it also sub-contracts over 90 production services companies in South Florida.
