The start of 2013 proved very positive for Wapa TV, which for its fifth consecutive year has maintained its rank as the indisputable network leader of Puerto Rico. The results of Nielsens first monthly survey of the year confirm the networks status, covering December 15 to January 14. In the study, Wapa obtained more than 50% of the first 30 slots for audience numbers among all demographics. We start the year solidly and with a lot of enthusiasm. In the coming weeks, well begin a new local project for the primetime schedule where well integrate information, entertainment, investigations and humor, among other aspects, and were confident it will be well received by the public that watches us in Puerto Rico and on Wapa America said Jimmy Arteaga, VP of Programming and Promotions for Wapa TV. Within households, Wapa obtained 21 of the first 30 slots for audience numbers, while Telemundo got seven and Univision two. Among women 18 to 49, the channel received 15 of the first 30 slots, while Telemundo had 10 and Univision five. In the same period, men 18 to 49 proved their loyalty to Wapa with 26 of the first 30 slots. Finally, within persons overall, the channel obtained 21 of the first 30 programs.
