María Badillo
Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) the Americas announces new leadership at Tr3s with the appointment of María Badillo as vice president of Programming & Production (P&P) for the US Hispanic network. In this new role, Badillo will lead the company’s programming strategies and original production output across all Tr3s content platforms. The announcement was made by Fernando Gastón, Brand Manager for Tr3s. As we continue our ambitious evolution of Tr3s, María will ensure that our rich and diversified development slate, as well as our new and established production teams, will all serve the creative vision for the network and our audience. As we launch our new prime-time slot, this is the perfect moment for María to take the reins,” said Gastón. Badillo brings nearly 20 years of extensive experience in Programming, Production, Marketing and New Media to Tr3s. Previously, she was director of Programming and Acquisitions for Discovery Networks Latin America / US Hispanic, responsible for developing the programming strategies across multiple brands, while creating new ways of maximizing programming impact on revenue and ratings.
