BCS National Championship and Bowl games on ESPN Deportes for the first time in Spanish language

ESPN Deportes is the television home for the 2013 college football post-season bowl games, airing all five BCS bowls, including the national championship. The network’s complete coverage of the much anticipated college football series marks the first telecast of the BCS in Spanish for U.S. Hispanic sports fans.“ESPN Deportes is committed to providing a variety of sports that appeal to all Hispanic sports fans, including young Latino fans. We are excited to have the opportunity to continue to broaden our programming offerings – especially with the BCS games, some of the most important collegiate sports events,” said Lino García, general manager, ESPN Deportes.The BCS games will air live on ESPN Deportes, starting Jan. 1 with the Rose Bowl presented by VIZIO and the Discover Orange Bowl at 5pm and 8:30pm, respectively. The Allstate Sugar Bowl follows on Jan. 2 at 8:30pm and the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Jan. 3 at 8:30pm. The Discover BCS National Championship game will air for the second time on the network on Jan. 7, at 8:30pm.
