Sun Channel: We have many expectations for the Hispanic market of the U.S.

Sun Channel has officially entered into the Hispanic market of the U.S. and has signed a deal with its distributor Olympusat, the company through which Sun Channel will be able to reach more operators within the territory. “Sun Channel and Sun Channel HD’s offer, which is 100% in Spanish and covers all of Latin America, is interesting for this market, and we’re supporting it. We’re new but we have many expectations for it. The Latino community is getting stronger. We’re talking about a market with the potential of 50 million people” Jennifer Betancourt, director of Distribution and Marketing for Sun Channel, told PRODU. On the other hand, she indicated that in South America the network has an important distribution within important markets like Argentina, and that it’s growing in countries like Uruguay and Chile, where since two years ago it’s been well received in the TuVes platform.
