Cine Nostalgia and Cine Estelar exhibit special programming during the Hispanic Heritage Month

One of Cine Nostalgia´s titles is Simón Bolívar
Cine Nostalgia and Cine Estelar will be showing special movies in celebration of the Hispanic Heritage month. These films were selected based on their stellar casts, significance for this celebration, and their great production qualities which made them box-office hits in Mexico, South America and Spain. Specials during this month will be a recollection of films interpreted by actors of different Hispano-American countries filmed in their original locations. Some of the films Cine Estelar will show are: From Mexico, El Redescubrimiento de México, an enjoyable comedy based on the work of the humorist Marco A. Almazan. A satire to the costumes of the Mexican and Spaniard societies starred by Pancho Cordova. And the film El Puente about the life of a Latino in the U.S. starred by Rafael Inclan. From Spain, Tirano Banderas based on the work of the writer Ramón del Valle Inclán. An eloquent description of the South American society and the fall of a dictator, with an international cast led by Gian Maria Volonte, Ana Belén and Ignacio López Tarso.And many other stellar productions like El Tesoro de Atahualpa from Peru, Yambao from Cuba, Supervivientes de los Andes from Uruguay, and many more awarded Latin American films. Additionally Cine Estelar continues with its 20 monthly premieres and each Tuesday of September and October will give special tribute to Andrés Garcia and Susana Dosamantes. Some of the titles Cine Nostalgia will show on the Hispanic Heritage Month are: Simón Bolívar, the life of the great Venezuelan hero and Liberator of America; El Padre Morelos, a Mexican hero that organized the Mexican Independence war and was recognized as a military genius; from Mexico, Canto a las Américas, a hymn of the Americas with the typical songs and pieces of the Latin American countries; La Liga de las Canciones, Mexico de mis Recuerdos and many more.
