As one of the largest days of corporate community volunteerism, Comcast and NBCUniversal hosted the 11th annual Comcast Care Day. Volunteers across the nation provided maintenance, supplies and makeovers to local schools, parks, and community centers.On Saturday, April 21, about 650 projects took place throughout 39 states and Washington D.C. including some larger scale plans where Comcast and NBCUniversal employees work together, like New York City, Orlando, and Los Angeles.For more than a decade, our employees, their families and their friends have made Comcast Cares Day one of the nations most impactful corporate volunteering events in our nation said Brian L. We are proud of the cities and neighborhoods where we work and live, and Comcast Cares Day provides a terrific opportunity to celebrate those communities by coming together and giving back to them.
