Canal 22 Internacional, Mexicos arts and entertainment channel, will premiere the second season of Gregoria, the roach, which examines the world of scientific knowledge and technology from a political, social, moral and ethical perspective.Gregoria, the roach follows the hardworking woman Gregoria, who is undervalued and unappreciated by her boss as well as her family. One day, she stumbles upon Franz Kafkas Metamorphosis and reading non-stop, devours the book. Soon after, Gregoria begin to demonstrate big internal changes and ultimately becomes a giant roach. But Gregorias personal transformation also includes a social consciousness, which makes her a curious and smart roach that worries about the planet and everything it encompasses.Gregoria, the roach is a co-production of the Science and Technology Institute in Mexico City, the Mexico City University and Canal 22.With the second season of Gregoria, the roach, Canal 22 Internacional reaffirms its commitment to Mexicans living in the United States, providing more timely coverage on major cultural events in Mexico and around the world.
