Ben Silverman of Electus to adapt Caracol’s Las muñecas de la mafia for an English channel

Ben Silverman, founder and CEO of Electus, explained to PRODU that Latin America’s foreign histories are the freshest and most powerful that exist in the market. In the second part of Silverman’s interview with PRODU at his offices on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, he explained that the history of drug traffickers had become very popular and were generating ratings in Latin America and the US. He reiterated that he is developing an adapted version of Caracol’s Las muñecas de la mafia for an English channel. Silverman indicated that he’s open to ideas from writers of the region, saying that the Latino perspective reinvents universal histories.
