Julian Isaac, CEO of SOI TV
SOI TV, now broadcasting in the US to 3.3 million Hispanic households, is the first network to actualize user interaction in real time during its on-air programming. With virtual polls and social media feeds via Facebook and Twitter, Hispanic audiences in 15 different cities in the US will be able to voice their own opinions on SOI. “The Latino voice in the United States has become more important than ever and it needs to be heard loud and clear” said Julian Isaac, CEO of SOI TV. “By combining the Latino population’s propensity for technology and social media consumption with the medium of television, we have created the ideal media platform where Hispanic opinion becomes the reigning force behind the news”.The SOI TV concept was created by founder, Eligio Cedeno, a Venezuelan banker imprisoned by the Chavez administration. Through his reflection on the importance of free speech and the role that media should play in society, SOI TV was born.
