Spanish speaking audiences in the U.S. will have the chance to enjoy the production that uses real life events and brings them on screen in 5 episodes, each told though a captivating narrative. Confidential was inspired by newsworthy stories that have become legendary, such as the famous priest that falls in love with parishioner, the man who becomes the biggest con artist in history, a politician that returns home after 12 years of being kidnapped and the man who kills his wife in a jealous rage. These incredibly shocking themes make up the thrilling series produced by Luis Alberto “Peto” Restrepo and feature the participation of well known actors such as Róbinson Díaz, Coraima Torres, Yuly Ferreira, Fernándo Solórzano, Ernesto Benjumea and Natasha Klauss. Each production was shot in HD and required much precision and agility. “We worked in two units directed by Ricardo Coral and Javier Mejia. We had over 100 people on our team. We have some great scenes that were taken with helicopters as well as some nocturnal takes among others that required the participation of over 120 extras and was all filmed in exteriors,” explains Manuel Peñalosa, director of Production.
