Freddy Rolón ascendido a VP de Programación e Iniciativas de Negocio de ESPN Deportes
Freddy Rolón has been promoted to VP of ESPN Deportes Programming and Business Initiatives. In his new role, Rolón will lead the ESPN Deportes programming team while retaining responsibility for the ESPN Deportes Radio and the ESPN DeportesLA.com businesses. He will be based at ESPNs worldwide headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut, and report to Lino García, general manager of ESPN Deportes. “For the past seven years, Freddy has successfully overseen the growth and expansion of the ESPN Deportes Radio network, and the development of the local .com business. We are excited to have him bring his valuable experience and leadership to our programming efforts, said García. Rolón most-recently served as senior director II, ESPN Deportes Radio and Business Initiatives, where he was part of the launch team behind ESPNs local sites. Rolón began his ESPN career as an intern for ESPN International in the summer of 2003. I look forward to working with an outstanding team to focus our programming strategy and enhance our content.
