Enrique Martínez and Iván Bargueiras from Discovery receive recognition in Pay TV industry

Enrique Martínez, president and general manager at Discovery Networks Latin America/US Hispanic

Discovery Networks Latin America/US Hispanic (DLA/USH) announced that its executives Enrique R. Martínez, president and general manager, and Iván Bargueiras, SVP for Ad Sales and general manager of the company’s US Hispanic Group, have been named among the nation’s most influential minorities in the Pay TV industry by CableFax magazine.Discovery recently appointed Martínez president and general manager to better reflect his functions and responsibilities as leader of its Latin American regional division and US Hispanic Group, and his role in the company’s growth in the region. Bargueiras was named general manager of Discovery’s US Hispanic Group earlier this year. In addition to managing all aspects of the company’s portfolio of channels for Hispanic audiences, including Discovery en Español and Discovery Familia, Bargueiras continues to serve as SVP for Ad Sales for DLA/USH.
