TV Everywhere is certainly a reality and is a great service. However, it is far from ubiquitous and it is rolling out at various paces and with different windows depending on the distributor and the network. Part of the delay is that such a service requires an extension of the existing relationships between distributors and programmers. There is a lot of deal making occurring in the industry right now. Everyone’s interests are aligned by a desire to create the best consumer experience and preserve the pay TV business model. However, we are all learning in real time and the uncertainty of it all requires that we work through complex issues, which may take more time than any of us would like. At Univision, we’re moving as quickly as we can. Our audience is passionate about entertainment and new technology. Therefore, we believe that a Univision TV Everywhere application will be a strong opportunity for subscriber growth with all distributors.As an industry we need to support any opportunity to capture more viewers and TV Everywhere is a pathway to such growth. However, we must be able to measure the growth in order for it to be accretive to our business.We need to move quickly to adapt our revenue models to adjust to these changes, which have such exciting potential for advertisers.We are currently preparing our TV Everywhere offering. It will be a one-stop shop for all Univision media and we plan to make it available to all of our distribution partners during the first half of 2012.
