V&S Entertainment, a leading UK independent children’s media company, has concluded a significant deal for its flagship animated pre-school series Everything’s Rosie with Vme, one of America’s largest Spanish language networks. The acquisition, which includes all 52 x 11 minute episodes, will see the HD CGi series Everything’s Rosie launching on Vme’s daily four-hour pre-school block, Vme Niños, and on its 24/7 cable channel Vme Kids in Autumn 2011. “Everything’s Rosie holds great appeal for international broadcasters, with strong themes of friendship, discovery and fun. As we arrive here at MIPCOM, this new deal with Vme is a fantastic landmark in the global success story of the series, enabling Everything’s Rosie to reach a host of new pre-schoolers and their families throughout the US,” commented Vickie Corner, managing director at V&S Entertainment.”Vme is the only Spanish-language network offering extensive children’s programming daily. We take our role as a leader in kids programming seriously. Everything’s Rosie is a great addition to our lineup that will introduce young viewers to important lessons about friendship and foster an understanding that will last them a lifetime,” added Doris Vogelmann, director of Programming and Acquisitions for Vme.
