WXTV Univision 41 of New York announced that veteran journalist Adriana Vargas has joined the stations primetime newscast as co-anchor of Noticias Univision 41 a las 6 y a las 11.Beginning Monday, August 15, 2011, Vargas will present the highly-rated newscast alongside news anchor Rafael Pineda. Vargas most recently served as the official spokesperson and director of international media for the President of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos.
