Germán Pérez-Nahim named senior VP and operating manager of TeleFutura

Univision Communications has appointed industry veteran Germán Pérez-Nahim to the position of Senior VP and Operating Manager of TeleFutura. In this position he will report to Luis Fernández, President of Univision Entertainment & Univision Studios. Bert Medina has been named Senior Advisor of Special Projects for Univision Studios.Pérez-Nahim brings more than 30 years of experience and a reputation in Spanish-language media as a writer, programmer, producer, and distributor. Most recently he held the position of VP of Univision Studios. Prior to that role he was at Venezuelas Televen, where he served as General Manager and VP of Production and Programming. He has held positions as Executive VP and General Manager at Coral Pictures Corporation and Eurocoral Television; VP of Sales, Marketing, Programming and Production at Radio Caracas Televisión; and as independent distributor at Sky Quest.Medina has been with Univisión since 1998 and served as Senior VP and Operating Manager for TeleFutura since 2005. In the past few years TeleFutura has grown to become the number two Spanish-language broadcast network in key dayparts and continues to generate more nightly wins over Telemundo during broadcast prime. Prior to this role, he served as VP and General Manager of Univisións WGBO and TeleFuturas WXFT stations in Chicago.
