In an effort to find new ideas for content that closely fits its profile, Tr3s: MTV, Música y Más, is reaching out to writers, independent producers and directors in Miami, New York and Los Angeles. Tr3s will join forces with NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) to host pitching sessions. The pitching sessions will be held on March 3rd & 4th in Miami; March 17th & 18th in New York and April 15th & 16th (NALIP) in Los Angeles. José Tillán, General Manager and Executive VP of Tr3s: MTV, Música y Más explained to PRODU that this is the first time the Hispanic channel undertakes such a project. MTV Latinoamérica, however, organized in the past something similar in the region for MTV and Nitro. We did a similar exercise we called Pitch MTV and we met in Mexico City and Buenos Aires with producers, creatives and directors from Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Chile.
