Venezuelan television executive, Germán Pérez Nahim, has joined the ranks of Univisión as Vice President of Univision Studios, working closely with Luis Fernández, president of the Studios and the groups Entertainment division. Peréz begins his new post on February 1st.In a memo to Univision Communications employees, Fernández was pleased to announce the appointment of Pérez Nahim. In this recently created role, Germán will apply his vast experience in programming to identify and develop new projects, and will work closely with me to launch new Univision Studios productions, said Fernández.Pérez Nahim has over 30 years experience in the Spanish-language TV industry as a writer, programmer, producer and distributor.He arrives at Univisión after working in Venezuela as General Manager and VP of Production and Programming of Televen, where he achieved a considerable increase in ratings and profitability for the channel.Previously, he was Vice President and General Manager of Coral Pictures Corporation and Eurocoral Televisión. He was also VP of Sales, Marketing, Programming and Production of Radio Caracas Televisión, and an independent distributor at Sky Quest.
