Venevision International is focused on renewing its variety shows in the U.S.

Venevision International (VVI) is renewing its variety shows Tu desayuno alegre and ¿Quién tiene la razón?, which are produced in the U.S. and have been airing on Univisión for several years.“We are focused on renewing and re-energizing the audiences of our U.S. shows, which have been around for eight and nine years. Part of the effort is finding a supporting cast for the show ¿Quién tiene la razón? We are looking for new characters to accompany Nancy Álvarez,” said to PRODU Juan Andrés Rodríguez, VP of Production of VVI. In regards to Tu desayuno alegre, one of the big upcoming changes will be the switch to high definition in 2011. Rodríguez also pointed out they plan to change the show to magazine format, for which they have already started integrating a larger variety of content.
