WAPA América launches on Comcast in Central California and Salt Lake City

Through Comcast’s MultiLatino package one can now view WAPA América throughout Central California —including Sacramento, Modesto, and Fresno— as well as in Salt Lake City.The addition of WAPA América in Comcast’s Central California and Salt Lake City markets follows recent launches of Comcast systems in the California Bay Area, Colorado, and Oregon/Southwest Washington, expanding the network’s coverage in the western region of the United States.“With local news, sports, comedy, music, and movies from Puerto Rico, WAPA América is a great resource to keep the thousands of Puerto Ricans and Caribbean Hispanics in Comcast’s Central California and Salt Lake City markets connected to their roots,” said Joe E. Ramos, president of WAPA Televisión.WAPA América is viewed in more than 3.5 million homes on major U.S. cable, satellite and Telco providers.
