Why Tony Waissmann is regional leader in Miami of Circulo Creativo USA

At just nine months after his arrival at Republica Havas, Tony Waissmann, who works as the agency’s chief creative officer, has been chosen by Circulo Creativo USA as its regional leader in Miami.   “I’m very pleased to be given this new responsibility as leader in Miami of Circulo Creativo USA, together with its co-leader Luciano “Chany” D’Amelio. We want to do things that help and improve our industry and I’m sure we’re about to achieve that because we’re not among those who are all talk, we’re among those who take action. My thanks go to Virgilio Flores and all the Circulo members who invited me to be part of this team,” Tony Waissmann added. He has set a fine example for the industry, having worked for more than 12 agencies and being honored on many occasions at such creative festivals as Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, New York Festival, London International Awards, El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, Gramado, Wave Festival, Fiap, Circulo de Creativos Argentinos and more, with a total of six Grand Prix to his credit. In 2020 he was named as one of the world’s 100 most influential creatives by creativepool.com, and in 2019 and 2021 was distinguished as one of the top creative directors in Argentina by the Jerry Goldenberg Awards.
