Pickle Music expands its services to Europe

Alexis Estiz de Pickle Music

The music production company headed by Alexis Estiz has announced a major expansion with the inauguration of its office in Madrid. “Since the launch of Pickle Music in New York, we’ve been working with a number of European agencies and brands, so naturally we found it necessary to create a group over there with its own studio, its own life, and the same vision as that of Pickle New York. This move also comes with the creation of our first Pickle label uniting artists and brands around the world with a shared musical, artistic and strategic vision,” said Alexis Estiz, CC0 & head of Music at Pickle Music.Madrid is a fascinating city that is growing today in areas of the creative industry and music, Estia added. “And though we have a studio and team in Madrid, we are currently collaborating with agencies all over Europe. It’s a strategic center that is working very well for us as the Pickle point in Europe.”The new structure should recreate the vision and culture of the agency’s principal headquarters in New York. “The team is led by Associate Creative Director Sebastian Merlin, who has just won several Grammys with Jorge Drexler, and has collaborated with such artists as Caetano Veloso and many more. This is the perfect match for carrying our Pickle vision forward to Europe and onward with our new label of artists.” At the creative level, the majority of campaigns in the Americas and Europe tend to be very different, but music has an advantage that prevails thanks to its universality. “We see our organization as creating the best work of our lives for each and every production wherever it may be, because our work has no borders.” Though the pandemic still holds sway, Pickle Music takes on the challenges that this scourge implies. “Imagine that we decided to open Pickle Madrid in the midst of the pandemic. I think we all understand the obstacles created by the fact we can’t hold all the in-person sessions we used to, but at the same time we’re becoming accustomed to it and have created processes that help and at times are even more effective when we go online with clients around the world. Luckily enough, we’ve started receiving people in our studios in both New York and Madrid, and that brings in some of the work flow we have missed so badly.”
