Yamilet Bermudez, Miami Managing Director of Mediabrands and juror of the FIAP Innovation category, had the leading role in a new edition of the FIAP Face to Face Webinar dubbed De Camino al Innovation Summit 2021. In her talk Media Strategy: The Evolution of Centralization, she explained how her company, though affected by the pandemic, continues to grow in such areas as technology, processes and talent. “No one could have imagined 186 days ago that we would continue to meet our customers’ demands, or that we could continue to be effective and even more efficient. The truth is that today we’re still winning business without getting on a plane,” the executive said. She noted that this is the outcome of the team’s continued listening to clients in order to understanding them, especially in such complex contexts as that imposed by the pandemic. “Their satisfaction is our priority and we emphasize this with the very specific element of flexibility. That is, we continually question ourselves, rethink processes and adjust them whenever necessary,” she said. Bermudez also stated that the centralization process requires driving talent further, being sensitive to what is local and generating leadership with keen managerial skills and strategic vision. “With this goal in mind we have established the standardization of products, talent and solutions for each client as a principle. This allows us to reduce our costs and transfer those benefits to our clients,” Bermudez said.
