Thomas Le Thierry Vizeum Cartagena
Vizeum CEO Thomas Le Thierry kicked off his address at the Latin American Summit of Communication, Creativity, Innovation, Marketing (+CTG) by delving into two different worlds – the digital and the urban – and the way they coexist. What is a brand’s future? With that question, Le Thierry noted the current challenge facing brands to build trust among consumers by offering experiences that give them an understanding of the real purpose and DNA of a product or service. “A brand should be aimed at having a dynamic in the digital economy by enhancing the relationship with the consumer through the experiences that the same platforms offer. At the same time brands have to compete with face-to-face services by generating greater social engagement,” the Vizeum CEO said. Digital has not only been a change in format but an update to purchasing habits that has resulted in a massive acceleration of the economy and a significant transfer of power into the hands of consumers. Regarding this, Thomas Le Thierry said: “We will undoubtedly see further changes in the world, changes in technology, global transformations in the main urban areas, changes that will impact the way we see brands. All this speeding up will affect the planet and as an industry we need to be aware of the consequences this will have on society. ”
