The trend this year will be digital exploration, according to Pinta President and CEO Mike Valdes-Fauli and Creative Director Alberto Barreras. “The use and adaptation of technology, apps, social media, digital content and influencers – all this is changing our industry,” said Valdes-Fauli. Barreras added that the creation of multiple messages resulting from the interaction of users will be another change in the industry. “As we explore the different media, the many ways we have to send messages, virtual reality, along with the other trend of interactivity and entertainment, we won´t see a lot of a static messages.” Advertising and public relations are increasingly linked. As Valdes-Fauli put it, “Another change is what is happening in the different but important disciplines of advertising and PR, thanks to the synergy between the two that takes place every day.”
