Republica Havas has been chosen to receive one of the 2018 Top Places to Work in PR Awards from PR News. The multicultural advertising and communications agency picked up the prize at the awards dinner held at the Edison Ballroom in New York City, this being the second year the agency has received this honor. PR News considers hundreds of candidates, including agencies and Fortune 500 companies. The editors of PR News, together with an external panel of industry experts, choose the winners according to the following criteria: chances for professional development and growth, open communications, exclusive benefits, compensation, diversity in the workplace and more. “Our people are the heart and soul of Republica Havas. We are fiercely committed to providing a familial, collaborative culture where employees feel appreciated and inspired to do their best work as they grow professionally,” said Jorge A. Plasencia, co-founder, president and CEO of Republica Havas. “Being named a Top Place to Work once again by PR News is definitely a feather in our cap.” As part of its familial culture, Republica Havas offers employees many special benefits, such as a barista who prepares the agency´s famous “cafecitos,” breakfast on Fridays, a gym, pet insurance, health insurance for domestic companions, birthdays off, summer Fridays with a reduced schedule, annual out-of-office seminars, quarterly assemblies, excursions, and a game room that includes pool, table football and ping pong. The agency also offers regular raffles of tickets to the best sports events, concerts, and community events, plus regular yoga and meditation classes on the rooftop.
