Circulo Creativo launched its call for contestants to take part in its U.S. Young Hispanic Creatives Contest. The registration of creative teams made up of young people age 30 or younger, who work for U.S. Hispanic agencies or on Hispanic accounts, is open from March 26 through April 6.The winning team will then be partially sponsored to attend the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June 2018 and take part in the Global Young Film Lions as the U.S. Hispanic Team, competing against its counterparts from around the world, the contest organizer Circulo Creativo said on its website. This is a chance for young creatives to compete among each other during the week of the festival and showcase their talent globally.The runner-up team will be partially sponsored to be a Silla Silencio (Silent Seat) observer next May at El Sol – the Ibero-American Advertising Festival in Bilbao, Spain. El Sol assembles a jury of more than 50 professionals from all over Ibero-America, selected by creative clubs from each country, then hand-picked by El Sol and Cannes winners from the previous four years. Finally, each name is approved by the festival’s counseling committee. This process guarantees coming up with a sample of the best regional advertising talent each year. Because El Sol doesn’t have online voting, all decisions are reached by an in-person debate of the jurors.
