AHAA new LOGO
Linda Lane Gonzalez, President at Viva Partnership and former Chairwoman at AHAA, along with Isaac Mizrahi, Co-President and COO at ALMA and current Chairman of the Hispanic marketing association, presented its new identity. On Tuesday, January 30th, its name was changed to Culture Marketing Council: The Voice of Hispanic Marketing. “This is a catalyst for all the changes and plans we have in mind for 2018 and the future” said Mizrahi. “Culture is the essence of multicultural marketing. Our new name seeks to project the wide-ranging efforts we make as Hispanics in marketing. We are an organization focused on business and on our clients’ bottom line, and we want to highlight the fact that today it is more important than ever to consult the experts. In 2018, we will talk about the power of specialization and the true potential of the Hispanic segment.” The new vision of the Culture Marketing Council is to raise the quality and effectiveness of Hispanic marketing by leveraging the power of its cultural expertise. Its aim is to spread cultural inspiration and innovation to every campaign in the U.S. through experience and cultural flow. “If you are doing business in the U.S. today, you’re doing multicultural business – that’s not a decision you have to make. Which is why I like the term cultural flow” Mizrahi added. “Our strategic priorities are to be opinion leaders, educate the industry, expand and retain our diverse member base, leverage our insights and data, and support the development of members of our industry” Lane said. Additionally, the two announced a new version of the Annual Conference to be held between June 4th-6th in Los Angeles entitled The Power of C3: Creativity, Community & Culture. “We will work hard to change things we don’t like about our industry. We have a lot of work ahead of us and this is only the beginning” she said.
