The CEO and Founder at Logan, Juan Carlos Göldy, said at FOMLA 2017 that everything mobile is catching on worldwide and that all eyes are not only on the technological and creative aspects, but also on the redistribution of media investment. “What I have seen a lot in networking and in talks I have taken part in is that there is great interest in creative ways to approach users on their mobiles without annoying them, and in generating more emotional conversations” he said. “Also, the topic of data technology is changing because of audiences based on mobile ID, mainly because the cookies in mobile devices don’t work well for measurement, since 86% of the traffic comes from applications where that technology doesn’t exist. This is one of the topics that concern us most. The truth is, there must be a change in data for mobile ID.”The company currently operates in Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Guatemala and Bolivia and is opening in Colombia and Ecuador, while aiming at Chile and Miami to establish more complete regional coverage. “Everyone knows that mobile is where the consumers are. We know what we can do, but there is still a bit of learning to be done in the programming area to make purchasing from mobile devices more effective. There is a great lack of education and drive from the industry and that is the big challenge in 2018” he said.
