Alex López Negrete, CEO and Founder at Lopez Negrete Communications, maintains that the agency’s does a lot more than advertising. “We are sociological anthropologists, because we have to understand why we think and feel the way we do. That is where the magic lies.” During the Hispanic Heritage month, the executive interviewed by Telemundo highlights the relevance of the work they have done in the Hispanic market since their foundation in 1985. “For them to invest in the market, advertise in the community and say ‘Here we are.’ But there will always be resistance” he warns.He adds that “as Latinos, we must respect our place by sponsoring the companies that advertise with us.” Success for Latinos is not only possible, it is imminent, he says. “The future of the country economically and culturally is in our hands.”
