SoStereo will be hosting a town hall conversation and networking event called: Stereo Connections, How Brands Win Fans with Music, that will include leading brands, advertising, and music executives about the importance of sonic branding in today’s landscape. The event will take place in Miami, October 5th. “Music is everywhere. From a TV show to an ad, the radio, to the ambiance in a bar, nothing is more invited into our lives than music. That’s because music has a unique power to connect cultures, transcend languages, and influence our emotions and behaviors” said Beto Azout, Co-Founder at SoStereo. “For a long time, brands have always struggled to unlock the power of music in marketing.” Doing events that bring creatives and experts in the area to the table is just one way we aim to share ideas and create solutions to help the advertising community to unlock the marketing power of music in order to create a true business impact.” The event includes a brand panel featuring Geoff Cottrill, CMO at Converse and former President at MullenLowe/Boston; Gaston Legorburu, Chief Creative Strategist at Publicis. Sapient; Alberto Perlman, Founder & CEO at Zumba Fitness; Mees Maks, CEO at Magic Hour Worldwide, Ex-Director of Strategy at VICE, and Jeff Siegel, VP & Creative Director at CP+B/Miami. Following the panel, the event will include a networking time with some special musical performances.
