For the new campaign for Buick, Encore, developed by Leo Burnett México, Robert Llauró directed a commercial with the product house Landia. Llauró was thrill with the project, because instead of talking directly about the vehicle, it referred to the emotions of those driving it. “I believe that regarding particularly to the vehicles category, the message is to showcase the car’s features, avoiding what is most important about the product: how it makes you feel?” he said. “The idea was precisely to talk about the people that drive those vehicles. That excited me and lead me to be very enthusiast about the project.” Working with Leo Burnett Mexico was an excellent experience for Llauró. “It’s a pleasure to work under conditions where everybody knows we’re doing the best for the film and the client. Regarding Buick, I only can be grateful. The process was impeccable from the beginning.” This piece is imbued by Llauró’s visual style. “For me a great visual quality, some epic and glory, and an unconventional twist, defines in some way my style and what I like” he said. “An important thing I brought to the table and was key before the client’s eyes, was quality. We wanted for the pieces to be visually epic, with great cinematography, but with a close, human and sensitive approach.”
