HBO, American Airlines y Time Warner patrocinarán el New York Latino Film Festival
The 14th edition of The New York Latino Film Festival (NYLFF), presented by HBO, will make its return October 11th-15th with the support of a roster of new and returning sponsors. The largest and most diverse Latino film festival in the country and a touchstone of the nation’s thriving multicultural cinematic movement, the NYLFF welcomes the return of American Airlines. The announcement this Wednesday by NYLFF’s Founder, Calixto Chinchilla. The festival also counts on the ongoing support of Time Warner and first-time sponsors including Comcast NBCUniversal Telemundo, AARP, Univision New York, sociedAD, Cinépolis and H+M Communications. “We are tremendously grateful to our founding partner HBO and Time Warner for their unwavering support through the years. The festival could not be more thrilled to welcome back our longtime partner American Airlines. This year, NYLFF welcomes an exciting group of new sponsors- Comcast NBCUniversal Telemundo, AARP and Univision New York- that will make it possible to continue to break new ground and give a much needed voice to a diverse group of established and up-and-coming filmmakers and artists. Since its inception in 1999, each year the NYLFF brings together more than 20,000 movie fans and industry executives over the course of several days. The premier marketplace for Latino films in the U.S., the NYLFF will once again showcase a diverse slate, spanning all genres and formats including features, shorts, documentaries and experimental films featuring, about and/or for the U.S. Latino community.
