Rodrigo González and Cora Pérez Fernández, creatives at The Community, won first place in the Hispanic Young Lions Competition of the Creative Circle in the U.S., with the campaign titled Based On Real Highlights, for Raze.tv. This award grants them partial sponsorship to attend the Cannes Lions Festival from 17-24 June 2017 and to participate in the global Young Film Lions competition as TEAM USA HISPANIC competing against teams from all over the world.Meanwhile, Bárbara Bandres and Ramiro Carranza, Copywriter and Art Director, respectively, also from the same Hispanic agency, came in second with their campaign NaranjaCanbur for Raze.tv. This award grants them partial sponsorship to attend the Silla Silenciosa en El Sol – El Festival Iberoamericano de la Comunicación Publicitaria, to be held in Bilbao, Spain between May 29 and June 3.This year 31 teams of creatives from 15 different agencies participated, although only 29 presented their pieces in time. The jurors include Leandro Gómez, CCO of McCann and President of the Creative Circle in Uruguay; Martín Insua, Creative Director at R/GA, New York; Emiliano Calemzuk, co-founder and CEO of Raze.tv, and Rafael Sandor, CCO of Raze.tv.
