Ruiz: Otra tendencia importante fue la integración de VR
The Founder and CEO of Hispanicize, Manny Ruiz, took stock of the event that connects the Hispanic communication and entertainment industries in the U.S. This meeting was full of innovation and took place in Miami. They established the first edition of the CMO Summit, a very important challenge for the team. “You can’t fail in a task that is so important for the industry, but it went so well that next year we will instill even more enthusiasm into the summit” he added.Another important trend was VR integration. Brands seemed very excited to implement the first demonstration of this technology, specifically for the Hispanic audience. The launch of Hispancize Pictures, with the first film, Hold On, was another of the novelties of the event. “For us, it means spreading the cinema as part of what we do. I love the movies and I love getting involved in films such as Hold On, because it has heart.”“My message for the industry is very simple: Come and get involved. Hispanicize is an industry barometer. We are the platform that participates the most in empowering our Latino community, from the diverse industries” expressed Ruiz. “The brands that didn’t come this year lost the opportunity to lend their voice in times when I think it is important to be united.”Ruiz highlighted that the launch of products and ideas is now an established practice in Hispanicize. Juanes used this platform for the launch of his CD, Mis Planes Son Amarte, the first visual album in Latin music. Walmart also launched its new campaign.
