Gustavo Razzetti, fundador de Liberationist
Adaptability is the new competitive advantage and this requires training and knowledge. Stemming from the Stretch for Change philosophy, Gustavo Razzetti announces his new project: Liberationist, a change leadership school and his exclusive dedication to management consulting and education. “I have noticed that many companies are talking about creativity, innovation, that they want to change, etc., but are not prepared as a culture, philosophically, nor as a team to be successful in that. Therefore, the concept of this school is to prepare people to be more open to change, to adapt and be able to lead it” he explained to PRODU. Razzetti, who has vast experience leading companies on culture change in Latin America and the U.S., describes organizations’ wish to grow, to be more creative, but he explains that internal fear hinders growth when their culture does not allow people to take risks. “There are companies that create internal innovation laboratories, but do not manage to influence their own teams, which is why many of these initiatives end in failure” he adds. “What I have noticed is that people need tools to get out of the repetition rut and be able to experiment more.”Google published a study on how to build the ideal team, he said, and the big conclusion they reached was the concept of psychological security. They realized that people in many companies do not feel safe to experiment and give their opinion. “If you don’t reach that scenario of psychological security, where you can express who you are, you cannot offer your best self.” He warns that part of his task is to work on the cultural part, how to prepare a mindset and a space for people to be more experimental and “be a bit more transparent.”
