Verónica Hernández and César Agost Are the New CEOs of Ogilvy Mexico and Miami

Horacio Genolet, CEO of Ogilvy Latina, announced on Thursday 26 that Verónica Hernández and César Agost are assuming the positions of CEOs of Ogilvy Mexico and Miami. During an encounter with the press in Mexico City, the executives presented the strategy they will implement in this new stage. Their management will be characterized by making people in the team happy. They will focus on clients and their business problems, and they will boost equity initiatives. Their main goal is to be agency number one in Latin America in the next three years. Ogilvy’s new organization will allow the Mexican team to work in alliance with the office in Miami, on campaigns for the general U.S. market. “We know a tough scenario is approaching Mexico with the political situation of the U.S., but we know we have the strength to succeed out of this crisis” stated Agost.“There are two of us because we are different and we complement each other very well. I am more inclined towards operations, customer service and business” explained Hernández, who is the first female CEO in the network. Agost will focuse more on creativity and innovation. “We must work at the culture´s speed” added the new CEO.“If things were done right throughout these years in Mexico, now, with with this team, they are going to be done much better” stated Genolet. “The arrival of John Seifert is entirely transforming the company in an amazing way, with a new operating model and a client-centric mindset. A clear example is that now, each CEO handles specific clients, I am in charge of global Coca-Cola”. Genolet announced that Carreño’s creative team is responsible for the new global Coca-Cola campaign, that will come out at the end of February.
