Avocados From Mexico Seeks To Hypnotize Viewers at the Super Bowl

Avocados From Mexico released the first teaser for this year’s Super Bowl commercial that will run during the first quarter of the Big Game. The 30-second spot features actor Jon Lovitz’s face and crazy eyes twirling before a hypnotic green background chanting phrases like “everyone loves guacamole” and “come and get it, hipsters.” For this effort, Avocados From Mexico is again working with creative agency GSD&M, media agency Havas Media and Richards Lerma for social media and digital execution. The company also launched a digital component, #AvoSecrets, which focuses on a mysterious cellphone that’s full of secrets and clues. Through February 7th, consumers will have the opportunity to unlock secrets from the phone for the chance to win prizes. The commercial highlights with humor the nutritional value of avocados, reminding millions of viewers that there is a difference between the bad fat in their chips and the good fat in their guacamole.
