Mayra Brace says she is leaving the business in good hands
Upon visiting Natpe 2017 to present their productions Antes y Fabulosa Con el Dr. Lipo, Mayamis and The Moving Company, Underdog, the production laboratory (as they call themselves), and its Founder and Director Andrés Wolff, announced the closing of agreements with the Colombian advertising agency and production company, Básica, to create content in the U.S.“Without any planning, the deal with Básica for the creation of content and campaigns came up in this fair. The agreement will be effective in February, bringing their work from Colombia to the U.S. In 2016, they were the new generation agency in that country and they are pioneers in generating productions for advertisers; in fact, they were the first agency to create an OTT for a brand, called Family Play. We are happy to be part of this, which, we are sure, will be very positive” he commented.Wolff highlighted the interest of Hispanic channels in his works: “We have had approaches to multinational companies, with local ones in Miami, and this is the first step that we will be following up. This allows us to prove that beyond a production company or an advertising agency, we are a production laboratory.”To end, he mentioned that currently in the industry, contents are focused on millennials “which leads us to realize that we are aligned with them through our productions, that have a millennial foundation.”
